Chef Lydia Ting

Lydia is the Founder of Le Petit Empire, Designer Cakes Singapore.
She has been building up the brand “Le Petit” since 2012. She have collected a noticeable amount of customer base over the years. Building brand recognition and happy clients. She have been receiving many compliments by clients and peers in the noticeable improvements in her work and her growth in the business over the years.

With her years of experience and expertise in the field, She has accomplished many skills from creating exquisite novelty cakes to catering desserts and food snacks for parties and events, to firing up dishes on busy dinner crowds in a bistro to conducting small decorating classes.

She has a diploma in Baking and Pastry and have been attached to the famous 5 Star Hotel – The Ritz Carlton, Millenia Singapore. She also has a few other diplomas in PME UK Sugar Module as well as Cake Decorating in the world’s top culinary school, Le Cordon Bleu, London.

Over the years, not only have she been taking up Master Classes learning from various Famous International Chefs, such as Amuary Guichon, Sedar Yener and many more.

She have also traveled aboard to various countries to improve her knowledge and skills. Certified by Republic of Korea Flower Cakes Association in South Korea, Modern French Pastry, in Bangkok, Thailand and many more. While, her trips are not just about getting the certificates, she also stays locally in the respectively countries and learn from the locals how to make local food dishes on each of her travel journey.

She has also been featured on local TV Mediacorp Toggle series Cake Show “Crazy Cakes” on a few episodes and have participated in various international competitions scoring several medals.

She also teaches small group classes occasionally and have been volunteering in the KidsREAD Programme by Singapore National Library Board with the Primary 1 and 2 Students.
